This third Bible study for athletes based on Jonah (The Big-Hearted Athlete) will have supplemental videos that will be posted HERE. The Big-Hearted Athlete is a serious study of the Old Testament book of Jonah. It is a bible study designed specifically for athletes. It is more than a devotional guide or inspirational book. It is a guided tour through the four chapters of Jonah with an emphasis on helping athletes develop a bigger heart of compassion toward people.

If you or an athlete you know is serious about reflecting God’s big-heart, then The Big-Hearted Athlete is a worthy consideration. It will empower every athlete to put God’s compassion into action in every arena of life (e.g. classroom, locker room, coach’s room, living room, and playing field).

Cole Limbaugh is a former athlete and coach who is passionate about equipping and empowering coaches with the gospel. As the son of a longtime coach, he knows firsthand about the trials and thrills of leading an athletic program. As a Division 1 pitcher who was also drafted in the 2011 MLB Draft, he has experienced the highs and lows of athletic competition. He knows that the only lasting success and joy in life is found in trusting the Lord Jesus Christ and developing a deeper knowledge of Him through the Scriptures. Cole has been on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes since 2016. He is a graduate of Samford University and currently pursuing his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Kaitlyn have one daughter, Lydia Rae Limbaugh. He and His cousin Ryan Limbaugh work together to reach the Coosa Valley of Alabama for Christ.
